Is it better to pay in the foreign currency or your home currency while paying by credit card when travelling overseas?

You’ll pay an addional 5% if you pay in your home currency when paying for goods abroad. Make sure you opt for the local currency to avoid “dynamic currency conversion” or DCC

When paying for goods and services abroad it is always recommended that you pay with the local currency. Banks will charge a percentage for using your country of origins currency.
