Byblos Bank has inaugurated its first satellite branch in Lebanon on Hamra’s Bliss Street, close to the area’s major academic institutions and commercial shops.
The move is designed to bring Byblos Bank closer to customers and boost customer convenience. The new branch is designed around face-to-face interaction between customers and personal bankers, and it offers full automated banking services.

Joumana Chelala, Deputy General Manager and Head of Group Consumer Banking at Byblos Bank, said: “The Satellite Branch is a teller-less branch aiming to improve customer experience by providing them with efficient, quick and optimised banking services.”
The Bliss Street Satellite Branch is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00am until 5:30pm, and on Saturdays, from 8:00am until 1:00pm. Automated banking services will remain accessible 24 hours.
Byblos Bank has just reported its results for the first nine months of 2018. The bank saw a slight decline in profit after tax to USD 114.9 million. Total assets reached USD 24.4 billion and customer deposits stood at USD 18.4 billion.
