Citi this week announced the UAE of launch of two new credit cards that deliver big on rewards.

The new cards, Citi Rewards and Citi Premier, come with a rewards program that offers “substantial” travelling and lifestyle benefits, Citi said in a statement. They’ll join the Citi Prestige card, which launched in 2015, to create a new line of products.

The rewards program – dubbed Citi ThankYou – allows customers to redeem points against flights, hotels and electronics, as well as well gift vouchers at leading retailers. Citi Rewards and Citi Premier cardholders will automatically be enrolled in the program.

“This launch in UAE represents a very important step for the Citi strategy that pursues best-in-class product benefits and customer experience, as well as alignment of products and programs that leverage global economies of scale,” said Dinesh Sharma, Citi’s consumer banking head in the Middle East.

All three products – Citi Rewards, Citi Premier and Citi Prestige –  offer point transfer to select lifestyle and leisure partners. In addition, Citi Premier and Citi Prestige offer point transfer to 16 airlines and hotel partners at a 1:1 ratio, Citi said.

Cardholders can manage their rewards on a special portal that can be found on the Citi online banking account.
