The assumption before this announcement was that the holiday would tack onto either the weekend ahead of Eid, or the weekend after. But it turns out the days off are right in the middle of the week.

As usual, public sector workers have been awarded more days off for Eid Al Adha. They get the entirety of next week off for the holiday, with normal working hours resuming on Sunday, 26 August.
