Emaar is joining forces with Emirates NBD and Visa to create a credit card built around its loyalty programme, U By Emaar.

The Emirates NBD U By Emaar Visa credit card can be used to earn and redeem ‘Upoints’ at around 1,500 Emaar customer touchpoints across the hotels, restaurants and leisure assets of Emaar Hospitality Group and Emaar Entertainment; at merchants in Emaar Malls-owned shopping centres; and at Dubai Opera.

The partnership with Emirates NBD will add to the lifestyle experiences assured by U By Emaar for card members, further defining it as the most sought-after rewards programme, as well as driving the growth of Dubai’s retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.”

The cards will come in three tiers: Infinite, Signature and Family. Depending on tier, you earn up to 15 Upoints per AED 100 spent at a participating merchant and up to 75 Upoints per AED 100 spent across various Emaar entities, including Dubai Mall and Marina Mall; Address and Rove Hotels; Reel Cinemas and Dubai Aquarium.
You’ll earn as much as 25,000 Upoints on applying for the card.
There are other perks, like BOGOFs at Reel Cinemas, 30% off dining at Address, Vida and Rove Hotels, and 30% off at places like KidZania, Dubai Aquarium, VR Park and Dubai Ice Rink.
There’s also free access to 850 airport lounges worldwide, free airport transfers in the UAE, and various golf-related perks.
