No, it’s not another bogus Facebook post promising a free, first-class flight to the Maldives. Etihad Airways has really got a 96-hour sale on, and it could allow you to save a shed-load of money on your next air fare.
According to the airline’s website, you have until 28 September to take advantage of the flash sale. The catch is that you must travel between 1 October and 21 May 2017, and you must stay at your destination for a minimum of three days and a maximum of one month. Given those are pretty standard holiday times, though, meeting those requirements shouldn’t be a problem.
The special fares are going for as low as AED 780 for an economy-class flight from Abu Dhabi to Muscat. Going further afield, there are also great options for Abu Dhabi to Bangkok (AED 1,940 for economy class), London (AED 2,240 for economy class), and New York (AED 3,180 for economy class).
And if you want to push the boat out by opting for business class, you could still save with this sale. An Abu Dhabi to Bangkok business class seat will set you back just AED 6,060, while a business class ticket to Sydney will cost AED 14,590.
