If you’re looking to save some money when it comes to booking flight tickets, Etihad Airways and Samsung have your back.
The airline now offers its customers a 30% discount off flights for economy and business passengers if they buy the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
The offer could save you up to AED 15,000, and it’s not only for one person. You can use the discount for up to eight people if you book flights before July 15. Though they’ll only be for flights between April and July and September and November.
Along with teaming up with Etihad, Samsung is also offering 40% discount with Hotels.com, plus vouchers for an additional 12% off hotel bookings.
Offering these deals, Samsung hope to regain customer loyalty, which diminished late last year after the company suffered some major setbacks related to the Galaxy Note 7’s exploding battery.
Samsung have reassured customers that the new phone went through its toughest safety process ever, with an eight-point battery check.
The S8 has an 8MP front camera, and a 12MP rear camera. Samsung claims that both cameras are ‘no match for the dark’, with a bigger lens that brings in more light. The model has added new features like an iris scanner and facial recognition, instead of a finger scanner to unlock the phone.
The phone will be officially released in the UAE on April 21, but pre-orders are available. The phone is priced at AED 2,799 and the S8 Plus will cost AED 3,099.
