Get A Free Brake Check-Up In Dubai This Weekend

When it comes to your brakes, you should always make sure they’re in the best condition possible, and now you can get a free check-up to keep you safe.

The brake system is one of the most important systems in your car. And according to Quick Registration, about 20% of vehicles end up failing tests because of the brakes.

And now Quick Registration, a vehicle testing and registration centre, wants to help the UAE residents to stay safe when driving on the roads. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) approved testing centre is offering free brake check-ups every Friday this December during working hours from 5 PM to 2 AM.

The inspection includes tests of brake force, deceleration, the emergency and service brakes, and the difference in braking between the left and right wheels for the handbrake.

Your car goes through some wear and tear throughout the years, and especially in Dubai’s sunny climate. So, every few years you should make sure you give your car an all over check. It’s recommended that you should check your brakes every 10,000 km, this should also include a visual inspection of the measuring pad, shoe thickness, rotors for run out, and any other hot spots.

Quick Registration wants to maintain the safety on the roads of the UAE, ensuring that a vehicle is safe for all drivers on the roads.

So, if have any difficulty in stopping your motor or your brakes are either making a grinding or squeaking sound then you should head down to the centre this weekend for an inspection this weekend.
