Nope, it’s not another one of those fake Facebook posts – thanks to Oman Air, a free business class upgrade really is on the cards this spring.
In celebration of the airline’s 24th anniversary, the Oman Air is giving away 24 free business class upgrades for economy passengers travelling between 20 March and 30 April this year.
To be in with a chance, you just need to be a Sinbad frequent flyer member, and register to travel with Oman Air between those dates. Once you’ve ticked those two boxes, you’ll be entered into the prize draw for an upgrade.
Naturally, there are some terms and conditions applied to the offer. Firstly, you need to have an economy class ticket to any Oman Air international destination – that means you’ll need to be flying out of Oman. So if you’re travelling from the UAE, you’ll have to use the airline and do a stopover in Oman for your journey.
Winners will be picked by random draw and informed by email. The first draw takes place on 20 March, and the last is done on 30 April. What’s the prize? It’s simply a business class upgrade on the economy ticket you’ve booked.
Do note, you won’t be able to re-book the ticket or exchange it for cash. Plus, if there are any additional taxes to be paid on the ticket, you’ll have to foot the bill for them.
