Select Group has delivered over 7,000 units, with another 5,000 units in the pipeline, a combined Gross Development Value (GDV) of over AED 20 billion, and includes such flagship projects as Six Senses Residences The Palm, Dubai (UAE), 98 Baker Street (UK) and the waterfront master development, Peninsula (UAE).
Key to their international growth has been their ability to develop strategic partnerships within the hospitality section, joining forces with world-renowned brands such as InterContinental, Radisson Blu, Jumeirah Group, Accor, Meliá Hotels International, Novum Hospitality, and most recently Six Senses Hotels & Resorts.
Diversification has been a critical strategy for sustainable growth for Select Group. They have embarked on several other investment ventures within the fitness, wellness, technology and asset management sectors as part of its venture capital vertical.
GymNation, its most recent venture capital success story, was an investment made by Select Group in 2018, propelling its rapid growth in the region. Later in 2021, it was successfully liquidated to UK fitness giant JD Sports Gyms Ltd. (JD Gyms), part of FTSE 100 entity, JD Sports Fashion PLC.
