What is Car Warranty?

Our Car Warranty cover is designed to protect you from paying out unexpected expensive repairs on your vehicle. A ‘warranty’ is a promise to help pay for replacement parts or repairs should a major part of your vehicle break or malfunction. The warranty runs for a 12-month period and covers the engine, transmission, differential, brake system, steering wheel, cooling system, fuel system, electrical system and air conditioning. Our cover starts from just AED 1700 + VAT and allows you to claim as many times in a year as you need to in one year.

Couplings
Master cylinder, servo, ABS.
Steering pump, steering rack.
Radiator, water pump, thermostat, heating mold, engine oil coolant, engine cooling electrical fan.
Fuel pump, fuel gauge.
Starter, alternator, windows glass motor, wipers motor, engine cooling fan, doors central lock, side mirrors motor, windows glass regulator, sunroof motor, engine computer.
Flywheel, gears, shaft, half shaft, exterior movement shaft, crown & pinion.
Compresser, condenser, AC condenser.
Any part not stated in the warranty shall not be guaranteed
Any kind of leakage of oil, lubes, greases or any other liquids are not covered

What’s not covered

  • Malfunctions resulting from manufacturing damage, design defects or included in any re-contacting campaigns.
  • Mechanical malfunctions clearly existing before commencement of policy.
  • Any malfunction resulting from failure of car service as per the service schedule according to the manufacturer's recommendations and negligence of maintenance.
  • Any guaranteed parts but did not fail unless required by the engineering actions.
  • Normal service and maintenance.
  • Any defects resulting from manipulation, disconnection or change of mileage gauge. (This will void the policy).
  • Any malfunction in the covered parts resulting from failures of uncovered parts.
  • Any malfunction or damage to the covered parts for replacement or variation or manufacturing specifications.
  • Any legal responsibility in connection to the deaths, bodily injuries, damages to other properties or any damages resulting from natural reasons, whether directly or indirectly.
  • Any repairs, malfunction or legal responsibility covered by any other valid insurance or warranty.
  • Any defaults resulting from wars, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities, whether the war is declared or not, civil wars, military rebellion, any act or military or usurped power.
  • Any direct or indirect malfunction resulting from or caused by nuclear fuel or any nuclear waste resulting from combustion of nuclear fuel or any other reasons, such as corrosion/and exterior breaks caused by fragments of stones or gravel, or resulting from any impact, discoloration or removal of paint caused by exposure to insects, asphalt, acid rains, sunbeam, body cracks, exposure to tempests, lights, industrial wastes or contamination.
  • Greasing, filters, defrosting, cooling or any malfunction resulting from overheat, frost or corrosion.
  • Any malfunction resulting from engine overheating.
  • Any malfunction resulting from excessive usage, inadequate maintenance, negligent treatment, accident or misuse.
  • Any device or accessories installed by, other than the authorized agent and any malfunction in such parts or any other parts.

Eligibility requirements

  • Coverage will commence after 1 month or 2,000 KMs from date of purchase.
  • Warranty can be issued only for cars not more than 5 years old. (2014 included)
  • A photograph of your odometer will be required at time of warranty purchase.
  • Mileage of vehicle should not be more than 150,000 KMs on the date of warranty purchase.
  • An RTA test report is required - this must be dated within 2 weeks of warranty purchase. In cases where a warranty is purchased after this date, an inspection report is mandatory from one of our network garages.

FAQ's

Every new vehicle comes from manufacturer with a basic factory warranty. This agreement states that the manufacturer will repair or replace any part of the vehicle in the event of any failure for a limited period or mileage. Once this warranty expires you have nothing to protect yourself from expensive vehicle repair costs.
Extended Warranty will protect you for an additional specified period of time and/or mileage.
Vehicles have to be 5 years old or less, mileage should be not more than 150,000 KM on the date of purchasing our extended warranty.
Coverage is for one-year unlimited Mileage covering the following mechanical parts:
Engine:

Yes, you have maximum claim liability according to the policy plan you Purchased (5000 or 10000 Claim liability per Claim) with unlimited number of claims per year.
Maintain the vehicle preferably at the authorized Service Centres or our Service centres network and according to the manufactures and warranty providers requirement.
Notify the nearest Authorized Service Centre upon recognition of any faults immediately and without delay to avoid consequential damages.
Ensure to keep all original service invoices in order to prove the proper service whenever a failure occurs.
You must maintain your regular Vehicle services as per manufacturer recommendations without any delay or missing service at the Brand Authorized Service centre or at one of our Service centres networks.
In the event that your vehicle requires a repair, the following procedures should be followed:
1) Immediately take your vehicle to an Authorized Service centre.
2) Inform them that your vehicle is covered by AAA Warranty.
3) Present your Warranty Booklet to the Service Centre.
4) Service Centre will then diagnose the required repairs & send to AAA Claims Team
for Approval, Approval is sent by AAA within 1 working day from receiving the claim.
5) Sign the invoice on completion of the required repairs when collecting your vehicle.
If a car breaks down due to failure of a covered part, the warranty will cover the replacement cost of parts and labour.
