If you’re stuck for something to do in Dubai this weekend, may we suggest heading down to the Hankook 24H Dubai endurance race?
Taking place at Dubai Autodrome, it’ll see around 100 GT and Touring Car-class cars battle it out across 24 hours on the Autodrome’s 5.39-kilometre Grand Prix Circuit.
Why would you go, apart from the fact that 24-hour races are awesome? Well, if you head down there, you’ll see all manner of amazing cars.
For example, last year’s race winner, Herberth Motorsport team, will be back in a 991 GT3 R Porsche 911 to defend its honour, and three-time 24H Dubai champion Black Falcon will also be in the mix, taking up the challenge with no less than four Mercedes-AMGs.
You can also expect to see BMW M cars, Lamorghinis, and all manner of other crazy exotica, down at the race.
Plus, entry into the race paddock and grandstand at Dubai Autodrome will be free to visit for spectators.
Racing commences at 14.00 on Friday (12 January) and runs for 24 hours until 14.00 on Saturday (13 January).
