Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank was founded in Amman - The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and was registered as a Public Limited Company in the registry of companies on 23.06.1963 under the number 8 and under its previous name “The Industrial Development Bank”. The Bank was established under the Law No. 5 for the year 1972 and was repealed under the law of abolition of The Industrial Development Bank; Act No. 26 of the year 2008, and was legally and factually replaced by Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank.
Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank has begun operations on 17/1/2010 according to Islamic Sharia principles and the instructions of the Central Bank of Jordan and The Banking Law of Jordan.
